The temperature & humidity weren't much higher than yesterday, but today seemed uncomfortably warm. The average high/low here for this time of year is 88/68.
The point of this run was to get out and go on tired legs. I'd rather the pace have been a little faster, but I was really dragging. I expected my legs to feel tired, but the whole rest of me was tired to, perhaps due to a mediocre night of sleep or maybe the sticky weather. I certainly didn't do anything yesterday after my run other than watch the Tour de France and read just about all day. And yes, my ankle is sore. I tweaked it early in the run.
Food
Breakfast: nuked egg, cantaloup, red grapes.Morning Snack: 6 Rainier cherries, 2 Razzles.
Lunch: big salad - spring mix, onion, mushrooms, carrots, cucumber, cauliflower, banana pepper, tomatoes, edamame, feta, chopped walnuts, ground flaxseed, blueberries, balsamic vinegar; red grapes.
Afternoon Snack: 8 oz V8, 3 Razzles.
Supper: concoction of whole wheat rotini, mushroom spaghetti sauce, steamed yellow squash; apple.
Razzles?! No, I didn't go on special excursion just to hunt them down. Janine left a partial packet behind when she and her sister, Lara, headed back to the UK last week. I don't recall where we purchased the Razzles, though. It might have been at Hot Topic in either Indy or Evansville or at Sweet Factory in the Circle Centre Mall in Indy.
