This was supposed to be tempo run, a slow build to 5k pace near the halfway point. It didn't quite happen that way. I just felt like going pretty quickly from the start. I didn't have enough gas to go the whole route that fast, but that's okay with me. I'm happy enough with the run, at least the first part. On the second part, I wanted to stop and walk again a zillion times but somehow managed to keep going. Considering the pace, I'm surprised my heart rate wasn't higher. The max and average heart rates were about the same for each running segment.
Tomorrow is rest day.
