Busy Day


I didn't sleep all that well. I think the food and beer at supper last night got the best of me.

Today was very busy. I've been on my feet just about all day: washed the car & cleaned the inside, gave the dog a bath, scrubbed the siding on part of the carport, mowed the front yard, swept the drive and sidewalks, scrubbed the big litter box, did a couple loads of laundry, and a zillion other things that precede an out-of-town trip.

Workout

Rest day, although with all the other stuff today, I pretty much feel like I had a workout.

Tomorrow is hill day, again. Right now, I just want to sleep for about 12 hours, though.

Food

Breakfast: 8:15 a.m. blueberries, banana, green grapes, kiwi, 1/2 oz almonds.
Morning Snack: n/a
Lunch: 12:45 p.m. big salad - mixed baby greens, blueberries, diced bell pepper  & onion, feta, ground flaxseed, sunflower seeds, raspberry balsamic vinegar; carrots, radishes, celery, cauliflower.
Afternoon Snack: 3:45 p.m. Lemon Luna Bar.
Supper: 7:45 p.m. V8, whole wheat pita, hummus, diced onion & bell pepper, red leaf lettuce, radishes, cauliflower, crenshaw melon.
Evening Snack: n/a

It looks like you're building endurance very well, Jill. Any races coming up?

I have a 10k in Evansville on September 6th and the Evansville Half Marathon on October 12th. I just hope neither date is anywhere near as hot as last year!
