I'm Runnin' In The Rain, Just Runnin' In The Rain...

...What a glorious feeling, I'm happy again.

Or something like that. Squishy shoes and all.

Cool down: .45 walk.
@start: 69, 96%, cloudy, NNE@2.
@end: 72, 92%, rain, W@4.

I was rather surprised to see that my times getting to and returning from the hill were nearly identical. I was definitely working a lot harder for that time on the way back. It started sprinkling on the last repeat and progressed to full-fledged rain for the entire return route and cool down walk. This is also the first time I managed to do the complete route back after doing hill repeats instead of stopping early and taking the short cut because my legs were too dead to do much else.

Food

Hold the presses! I decided to drink the 9 remaining Diet Cokes that in my fridge. No, not all nine today. Just one ... or two, but that's it. I haven't had one since June 1st, and it tastes really good.

Breakfast [9:20 a.m.]: fruit salad - carambola, blueberries, grapes, kiwi, clementine, cantaloupe; 1/2 0z almonds.
Morning Snack: Diet Coke.
Lunch [1:15 p.m.]: grilled wild halibut, big salad - mixed baby greens, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, avocado, carambola, ground flaxseed, balsamic vinegar; watermelon.
Afternoon Snack: n/a
Supper [7:00 p.m.]: steamed eggplant & cauliflower, cucumbers, tomatoes, kidney beans, cantaloupe.
Evening Snack: 1/2 oz almonds.

I bought a couple carambolas (star-fruits) at the store a few days again. I don't recall having ever eaten them before, so I figured I'd give it a go. I like them! They have a light flavor and the texture is sorta crunchy/crisp like watermelon, but not as juicy as that. BTW, if you have chronic renal failure, do not eat carambolas.
