At least I slept pretty well last night. After taking Gran out to the hospital, I went to Walmart, picked up the things on her shopping list, and then went back to her place. I cleaned out the fridge. It's amazing how cruddy it can get in three or four months. At least I found the ick that was making it smell. Sheesh. After doing that and cleaning the hard water stains out of Gran's bathroom sink, it was time to go get some chow & taken lunch to her. Of course, when I got there I discovered my aunt had already taken her lunch even though I told my aunt yesterday evening that I would take care of it today. Irks me to no end. I'd much rather have just gone home and made one of my big honkin' salads than rush to Wendy's so I could get Gran's lunch to her at some time approximating lunchtime.
Anyway, Granddad seems to be doing better. They did another set of chest x-rays today, but I haven't heard what they indicate.
Workout
September 29
Today is an official rest day. Since the half marathon is just under two weeks away, I'm going to cut the hill repeats out of my training regimen until after the race.
Food
Breakfast: 8:50 a.m. banana, nectarine, red plum, 1/2 oz almonds.
Lunch: 12:40 p.m. Wendy's Mandarin chicken salad, Diet Coke, Pringles Selects Cheddar.
Supper: 8:35 p.m. @grandparents - a few green grapes, peach pie, vanilla ice cream, Pringles Selects, 1 fig newton, 1 stale generic cookie.
