Slow-Mo 5 Miler

I took my car to Evansville for an oil change this afternoon. Stopped by my dad & step-mom's place on the way back. Pop was out getting some warranty work done on his car, so I talked with Pat, watched TV, and dozed on the couch for about an hour off-and-on. Had a big supper when Pop got home ... ham, green beans, peas & potatoes in a cream sauce, watermelon, mint chocolate chip ice cream (and today was National Rocky Road Day ... supposed to eat any flavor of ice cream ... and I didn't know about it until after supper), mixed nuts. When I got to my mom's to feed the cat, I had an Oreo (there was only one left!) and 5 Kisses. Maybe all that will restore my energy levels.

Tomorrow is National Running Day! http://www.runningday.org/
