A Lot of Chow

It's been a busy day installing the window A/C upstairs, cleaning house, vacuuming the car, watering flowers, cleaning the deck and patio. I guess it's as ready as it'll ever be for my house guests. They arrive at EVV at 4:45 p.m. Or at least, they were supposed to have arrived then. Due to weather delays, they finally landed around 6:53 p.m. After retrieving their luggage, we headed back to Princeton and ate a yummy supper at Pood's.

Workout

6:06 a.m. CT
Warm up: walk .50 mile
Distance: 4.98 miles
Time: 58:39.6
Pace: 11:46
HR Max: 182
HR Ave: 154
At start: 73, 78%, overcast, SSW@8 [5:45 a.m.]
At end: 75, 77%, overcast, SW@12 [7:25 a.m.]
Cool down: walk .50 mile

It's a good thing it wasn't sunny. I might have just rolled over and died. Unfortunately, I forgot to hit the lap button at the half-way point. The big hill got me again. I walked 2 minutes going and coming on it. Also walked 3 additional times for a minute each on the way back. The ankle still isn't back to normal, but it feels a bit better tonight than earlier today.

Food

Breakfast: blueberries, strawberries, grapes, small banana, 1/2 oz almonds.
Morning Snack: Terra Chips
Lunch: big green salad with romaine, carrots, radishes, mushroom, tomatoes, grapes, blueberries, feta, bean sprouts, 1 tbsp ground flaxseed, raspberry balsamic vinegar.
Afternoon Snack: Cinnamon Roll Larabar.
Supper: appetizer of deep fried (!) corn nuggets/popcorn shrimp/mushrooms & horseradish; char-broiled pollack, corn, broccoli, Texas toast, 2 Newcastle Brown Ales.

Whoa! What a lot of food I had for supper tonight. Sure tasted good, though! Of the few times I've been out to eat since I did the fast, this was the most enjoyable experience from a food perspective by far.
