Splish Splash

Workout

After supper, I spent 45 minutes treading water with a little swimming. I'd planned to use a kick board for a zillion laps, but, as it turns out, flutter kicking with pointed toes is very uncomfortable on my left ankle, so I spent most of the time treading water with various leg motions. I also managed some side stroke and back stroke laps, but not many.

Food

Breakfast: fruit salad - blueberries, strawberries, banana, clementine; 1/2 oz almonds/walnuts mix.
Morning Snack: n/a
Lunch: celery, steamed green beans, wild rice, eggplant sauteed with garlic in olive oil.
Afternoon Snack: watermelon.
Supper: big salad - herb mix, romaine, celery, carrots, bell peppers, tomatoes, cauliflower, blueberries, raisins, sunflower seeds, ground flaxseed, goat cheese, balsamic vinegar.
Evening Snack: apple, Laughing Cow Lite Spreadable Swiss, lite yogurt.

I feel pretty hungry as I type this (post apple & cheese, before yogurt). I'm assuming it's due to the 45 minutes in the pool. The water temp was a pretty nice 82.
