Decent 6 Miles

Now that I'm back home for a while (nothing scheduled until mid-May when I head to Florida for a week or so), I'm getting back on the wagon. I've decided to switch my primary focus over the next 2-3 months from running to getting rid of the excess weight. Enough's enough already. Sheesh. I'll still be running, tho. Might still do another half this spring just to keep myself motived.

Workout

Warm up: .45 mile walk
Distance: 5.98 miles
Duration: 1:04:57 [out in 32:30, back in 32:27]
Pace ave: 10:51
HR ave 163, max TBD [had some interference]
Out in 32:29, back in 32:27.

Had a decent run, although at the halfway point, I got a rather painful stitch in my side that lasted most of the way home. I can't recall the last time I had one of those. Aside from that, no aches or pains at all. Jolly that.

Food

I rarely miss breakfast, but today I lazed around in bed until really late.  Had a packet of Gu before my run just because it'd been almost 5 hours since I last ate. Haven't been to the grocery since getting back in town, so there wasn't much around suitable for a quick pre-run snack.
