"4 Quadrants" Route PR

Eddie flies out of Indy tomorrow morning, so we're heading up tonight to avoid leaving at some ungodly hour like 3:30 a.m. to get there in time. Sometimes, Indy being an hour ahead really bites.

Workout

September 9
8:23 a.m. CT
Warm up: .5 mile walk
Distance: 4.32 miles
Duration: 44:03
Pace ave: 10:11
HR ave 153, max 175
Cool down: .5 mile walk
@start: 61, 83%, cloudy, N@8
@end: 61, 83%, cloudy, N@10

I'd intended to take it easy since yesterday's long run seemed to take so much effort, but was feeling better than expected. I just ran however I felt which was pretty darn good. As I got closer to the end, I realized I would be able to set a PR for the course, so that motivated me to keep up the pace. My time was 46 seconds faster than the 2nd fastest time. Legs are still a little tired, though. Breathing/lungs were great.

Breakfast: 10:00 a.m. banana, 1/2 oz almonds, Diet Coke (!).

Supper: 6:00 p.m. @Bob Evans - potato-crusted flounder, broccoli/carrots/squash, home fries, banana bread, a bit of coconut cream pie.
