After four days of not running or doing anything much, I finally got off my butt and got with the program. It was plenty warm this morning, but the run was decent enough. On the way back, I stopped for a couple minutes to talk to a guy named Jody who'd asked me if I was training for something in particular or just out for a run. We talked about the Evansville Half, YMCA warm-up runs, the running club. He ran the Columbia, MO marathon a couple years ago. The break was welcomed: I was really hot & my HR was higher than I'd wanted it to be.
I found a penny, too!
