Doctor Appointment for the Ankle

I went to my doc today to have her take a look at my ankle. She doesn't think I have a stress fracture (yay!), but sent me to the hospital for x-rays to be sure. The results should be available tomorrow. At least she didn't yell at me for running on it. Depending on what the x-rays show, I'll probably be instructed to not run (but walking is ok) for a week or so, wrap it, and do some PT exercises.

Since I was already there, I also told her my lower back on the right has been having spasms off and on for several months. I now have an appointment with an osteopath (the same one my doc goes to) in Mt. Carmel for the 31st for my back. She thinks it's a simple fix. That's a good thing ... I'm not too keen on getting into something long term, so maybe an adjustment or two will do the trick for the long run.

Food

Breakfast: banana, 12 Rainier cherries, 1/2 oz almonds.
Morning Snack: n/a
Lunch: big salad - romaine, spinach, onion, red & green bell pepper, cauliflower, tomato, carrots, celery, goat cheese, 1/2 oz sunflower seeds, ground flaxseed, blueberries, clementine, balsamic vinegar; the last ounce or so of the black bean tortilla chips.
Afternoon Snack: n/a
Supper: Triscuit, Laughing Cow light spreadable Swiss, homemade vegetable & beef soup, 6 Rainier cherries, 3 Musketeers Mint candy bar (as a pre-appetizer dessert!), 4 Lifesavers for dessert.

I almost went to Pood's for supper to get a hunk of steak or fish, but decided to just reheat some soup I made that has some nice chunks of beef in it. I steamed some squash and zucchini, too, but was too full after the soup to eat it.
