Overall, this was another good outing. Eddie performed as my pit crew so I didn't have to carry water with me. I took short water breaks [e.g. stopped my watch] of maybe a minute at about the 1/4 and 3/4 marks. Took a little longer water break, maybe 2 or 3 minutes, and ate 1/2 a lemon Luna bar at the halfway point.

I was pretty achey the last couple miles. At the end, I was comfortably tired, but not exahusted. This afternoon definitely calls for some nice couch time watching the Olympics closing ceremonies.


Food

Pre-Run: 7:30 a.m. banana, 1/2 oz almonds.
Breakfast: 10:30 a.m. clementine, green/red/black grapes, 1/2 oz almonds, Fresca.
Morning Snack: Diet Coke.
Lunch: 12:30 p.m. cauliflower, carrot stick, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, peas, baked potato with baked beans, white rice with peas & onions & bits of mixed meats, 1 square Ghirardelli 86% cacao.
Afternoon Snack: Fresca.
Supper: 5:30 p.m. Steamed cauliflower, carrots, potatoes, sauteed mushrooms, brussel sprouts, strawberry ice cream, crackers, cheese.
Evening Snack: Small Mars bar, lots of chips.

I guess I need to get back on the scales sometime soon. I brought them with me, but have preferred to live in ignorance of my weight lately.
