A Trip to the Horse Show

I went with my aunt to a horse show in Lynnville. She has a 3-year-old mare she wanted to acclimate to the show atmosphere. She didn't show her, but the horse behaved very well. The seasoned show horse, on the other hand, has been demoted from Crown Prince to Court Jester. When I was riding him in the arena before the show, he'd jump or buck or shy just about everything this one horse went by. Gomer. Unfortunately, he didn't place in any of the classes this time (a very unusual thing).

I got to see Fannie Mae the kitten today before and after the trip. She is doing very well. Cute little thing.

Back in November when it was nice and chilly, I ran this in 1:03:45 with lower average and max heart rates when it was 41 with a 35 degree windchill. The run was about three weeks after I ran three half-marathons between October 7th and November 4th.

Anyway, I felt tired again today, especially after a couple miles. At least I didn't walk any of it. I'm a bit anxious about the long run tomorrow being anything close to decent. I may just do a 3 minutes run/1 minute walk deal and go a little longer than I'd originally planned. At least it's not forecast to be quite as humid tomorrow morning as it was this morning.
