On my run, I found a quarter over by Lin Gas, the 2007 Idaho one with a peregrine falcon on it. I'd not seen that particular state's quarter before. It's even in decent shape, despite spending some time on the asphalt. Idaho is one of the few states I've never visited. Perhaps my next road trip will be there ... or maybe I'll just fly :-)

This was definitely a better run than the long run. Of course, being half as long helps. Aside from that, I just felt better. Even the bad ass hill wasn't so bad today. On the down side, while my left ankle didn't hurt at all, it did feel a little "twinge-y." I'm very glad today was a good run. It's so discouraging to have consecutive crappy runs.
If I make tomorrow a hill day and take Friday as a rest day, then I can get back on my usual schedule and hopefully not have any interruptions of it until after the half marathon (Oct 12). It'll definitely be interrupted when I go to the UK and Northern Ireland the last half of October, though, but that's okay, all things considered.
