Warm 5K

Tomorrow is race day, the Bee Healthy 5K in Boonville, IN. It's supposed to be a lot warmer than usual and windy tomorrow, so I don't have any particular goals other than an 'A' goal of faster than last weekend (29:03) and a 'B' goal of sub-30:00. I don't know whether there are any hills on the course or not. Judging by the way I've been feeling this week, I don't have much hope about being faster than last weekend.

Egads! 15 degrees warmer today than yesterday at 8:05 a.m. Definitely warmer than I like, but at least there was a "breeze."

With the race tomorrow, I just wanted to take it easy (or at least easier than usual). As I get used to running faster, it feels uncomfortable from a biomechanical perspective to run slower.
