I continued to eat mostly watery fruits and a few vegetables today and did so every two hours or so. I packed an orange, 3 romaine leaves, about 3/4 cup seedless red grapes, ~1 1/2 cups whole strawberries, & ~1 cup grape tomatoes and ate a mix of it each time I had a mini-meal. I decided to go for the CornNuts, so I munched on 1.7 oz of them over the course of about 3 hours.
I have some grapes left & ate the last three strawberries after supper which I had at my dad & step-mom's house around 5:30 p.m.: 1/2 peach, 1 small ear of corn (plain), 6 baby carrots, small amount of iceberg lettuce, a few grapes. For breakfast around 6:30 a.m., I didn't have much: 1/3 cup watermelon (just a few small bites), 1 grape tomato, 2 strawberries, 2 of the slices of the orange I packed for the trip.
It still doesn't take much for me to feel full, particularly when I make an extra effort to eat really slowly. Diet Coke is still out of the picture -- water only still!
All in all, I feel pretty good. My step-mom said I looked too gaunt in the face. I'd rather look gaunt in the face and be able to run better than vice versa. I still haven't been out for a walk, yet. It's almost dark, so I guess I'll take 2 or 3 laps around the double block I live on which is a smidgen over 0.4 mile. I'm in no mood for the treadmill in the basement tonight. Wanna be outside!
UPDATED: walked a little over 2 miles & felt pretty darn good.
