I ran with an ankle support wrap thing. My ankle didn't bother me during the run until the last minute or so when it started aching a little. All in all, it was a good run (or run/walk or however you want to look at it). In the last mile, I picked up the pace on the run segments. Felt good to be moving again.
As the day has progressed, the ankle has held up pretty well, although it's gotten a little puffy again with me not wearing the wrap for the past 4 hours or so.
Food
Breakfast: red grapes, clementine, cantaloup, sweet cherries; 1/2 oz almonds.Morning Snack: 6 Triscuits, Laughing Cow Lite Spreadable Swiss, watermelon.
Lunch: homemade lentil and wild rice soup, 1/4 oz almonds, cantaloup.
Afternoon Snack: n/a
Supper: ate at Ri Ra with parents - Guinness BBQ Burger, balsamic tossed greens, a few fries, a Swithwicks; back at the house, strawberry Dibs.
Evening Snack: 3 vanilla Oreos while on kitty/yard duty.
I splurged a little on the junk this evening. Oh well. The burger was excellent, the greens so-so (mostly just iceberg), the fries so-so, the Dibs & Oreos yummy. Of course, the Smithwicks was very good.
