At this time of year, it's so nice in the Dallas area. Not nice enough to deal with half of June, July, August, and most of September, mind you, but very nice indeed. Brian joked that I should move back and keep a summer home up north. :-)
The horses (the ones I gave to Dedra when I moved) look great! It sure was good to see them again, too. Buddy is 20 now, TC 18.
Workout
November 26:47 a.m. CT
Warm up: .45 mile walk
Distance: 5.58 miles
Duration: 1:00:48
Pace ave: 10:53
HR ave 160, max 180
Cool down: .45 mile walk
@start: 59, 92%, partly cloudy, SSE@8
@end: 62, 84%, partly cloudy, SSE@8
This was a pretty decent run, but it didn't feel as good overall as yesterday. My quads didn't seem to have an residual soreness from yesterday, and my ankle was less achey, but the effort just felt harder even though it wasn't (judging by HR info and pace).
Food
Breakfast: 10:30 a.m. Yoplait light yogurt, apple.Lunch: 1:00 p.m. 2 mini 3 Musketeers, @Fridays: Key West Shrimp & broccoli, Chips Ahoy sundae, Diet Coke.
Supper: 7:00 p.m. @Dedra & Darrell's: Church's fried chicken breast & mashed potatoes and gravy, ice cream cup, Diet Coke.
Argh! I really make a concerted effort to avoid eating high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). Much to my dismay, it's listed as the second ingredient in Yoplait Light. I didn't even think to check it yesterday and was halfway through the container today before looking at the ingredients list. I'm staying at a friend's house, so I eat whatever is on hand. I really never expected HFCS in yogurt. Silly me.
