Decent Treadmill Run + Pizza!

Today is Rae's (niece) birthday, so I drove my step-mom to Bloomington for the birthday party. We had a nice visit, although she refused to sing along to Patsy Cline with me in the car on the way up. Killjoy! :-)

An unusual occurrence - a good treadmill workout. I increased the speed .1 mph per half mile starting with 5.2 mph. Starting mile 4, I increased the speed .1 mph per .1 to .15 mile maxing at 6.6 mph. The last half mile was at 5.2 mph.

I  did a couple sets of bench press and bent over row and a couple ab exercises. Didn't have enough time for a more comprehensive routine, but at least I did something.

Food

I knew today wouldn't be so good on the food front since Rae had a pizza party for her birthday. I managed to keep a lid on it with one breadstick, 3 slices of pepperoni & mushroom pizza, and a piece of birthday cake. Since the place only served Pepsi products (argh!), I had Diet Dr. Pepper which is way better than Diet Pepsi, but not near so perfect as Diet Coke.
