A New Route, A Sunny Day

I've been in a funk again for a few days. Managed to get out in the sunshine today. Don't know if it was the run, the sun, the visit with my mum, or what but I do feel better now. Still not great, but way better than when I woke up.

Workout

April 4, Saturday
1:30 p.m. CT
Warm up: .5 mile walk
Distance: 6.65 miles
Duration: 1:11:48
Pace ave: 10:47
HR ave 157, max 177
Cool down: .5 mile walk
@start: 60, 36%, sunny, ESE@4
@end: 63, 2% sunny, ESE@6
Shoes: Pegasus 25

I really needed to do something different today, so I ran out Bald Hill to Petersburg Road. Walked up the really steep part of Bald Hill, though, which took 3:45 and my HR stayed above 160 while doing it. Stopped by Mom's on the way back into town which is about a mile from home. Stayed an hour and half, so I guess I really had a 5.5 mile run followed by a mile run. :-)

My breathing was a lot better today. Nothing else hurt. Woohoo!

Food

I gave my4th box (Thin Mints) of Girl Scout cookies to Gran & Granddad because I managed to eat three boxes of the things in three days (1 of Thin Mints, 2 of Do-Si-Do's). Not good ... well, they tasted good, especially the frozen Do-Si-Do's.
